2025
March – April, 2025
Vestry meets to develop the mandate for the search committee and establishes the members.
June
Search committee meets with Diocese representative. Subcommittees are formed to begin the discernment process. Target congregational groups for discussion groups are identified.
September - October
The search committee publishes our parish OTM portfolio and position description. The information is made public on the SAOTS website, Diocesan Website, and the Episcopal Church News Network.
December - January
Interviews are conducted, and the candidates are reviewed. The final rector candidate is then presented to the Vestry.
May
Search committee meets for the first time, reviews prior work, and schedules a meeting with the Rev. Canon Stephanie Allen from the diocese.
July-August
The parish-wide survey was completed, and the results have been tabulated. Additionally, focus groups meetings were conducted to gain insights into the specific needs and desires of the parish.
November
Candidate names are collected at the diocesan level and will be reviewed by the diocese before being presented to the search committee. The search committee will receive candidate information by the end of the month.
2026
February - March
The new rector starts at St. Andrew’s On-the-Sound.
