ON-THE-SOUND

Come and See
Our name, St. Andrew’s On-the-Sound, reflects who we are. While we don’t sit directly on Wrightsville Sound, we’re close enough to the coast to carry a bit of that easygoing, beach-town spirit with us. There’s a sense that we bring a little sand in with us whenever we gather.
At the heart of our community is God’s love. Our worship is rooted in tradition yet open and welcoming, as we seek to grow in faith and live as God’s family. Whether you’re a young family, a retiree, or somewhere in between, you’ll find a place here.
Come as you are—bring your faith and your doubts, your experience and your questions, and most of all, your hopes. Here, you’ll find a community centered on Christ, filled with warmth, joy, and a shared commitment to worship, fellowship, learning, and service.
We are a community that is:

Welcoming
Opportunities for connection and growth include the Adult Forum, which offers thoughtful conversation and guest speakers, and Sojourners, a small-group gathering centered on reflection and community. Music, outreach, and seasonal formation programs also provide meaningful ways to engage, learn, and build relationships in a supportive and welcoming environment.

Growing
Through children’s formation, youth gatherings, and intergenerational opportunities, young people are encouraged to grow, ask questions, and discover God’s love in a supportive and caring community. Families are welcomed as they are, and we seek to partner with parents and caregivers as children and youth grow in faith and fellowship.

Serving
We are proud of our outreach ministries and partnerships in the wider community. We seek to live out our faith by responding to real needs with compassion, humility, and hope. Opportunities to serve invite people of all ages to put love into action—offering time, care, and presence—so that our worship is carried beyond our walls and into the world God loves.

Visitor Card
We’d love to get to know you. Filling out a visitor card is a simple way to let us welcome you, answer any questions you may have, and share information about upcoming events and opportunities. There’s no obligation—just an invitation to stay connected in whatever way feels right for you.
