A Reflection for This Moment

A brief pastoral reflection offering guidance, encouragement, and clarity as we navigate this moment in our shared life.

Baptism

“Do you not know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death?” (Romans 6:3)

With Gratitude for Our Acolytes

Our acolytes help lead worship in the beauty of holiness. On Sundays, they carry the cross, bear the Gospel book, hold the torches, and assist at the altar. I am grateful for their dedication to serving, reverent attitudes, and joyful spirits. A sincere thank you to everyone on our acolyte team, especially the 25+ who attended Sunday’s training, and to the parents and ministry leaders who support them. Their faithful service helps make our church place of beauty, holiness, an

A classical religious oil painting depicting a haloed man kneeling on rocks beside a stream, holding a long staff and pointing toward a haloed woman standing on a distant hillside. The man wears a cream-colored garment with a deep red cloak draped over his shoulders. The scene is framed by large, leafy trees, with a winding path, rocky terrain, a small waterfall, and a calm blue lake stretching into the background beneath a partly cloudy sky. The enhanced colors emphasize the vivid blue sky and water, rich green foliage, warm earth tones, and the red and blue garments of the figures.

John the Baptist's ministry was all about pointing people to Jesus. Whether preparing the way for the Messiah or declaring, "There He is. Follow Him!" John's life reminds us that faithful ministry is never about ourselves—it is about leading others to Christ. May our worship, service, and daily lives point others to the Lamb of God.
