The Feast of the Epiphany

While many consider Christmas over on December 26, the Church continues to celebrate throughout Christmastide until Epiphany, the feast marking the revelation of Christ to the world.

Epiphany centers on the journey of the Magi, who followed a star to find the Christ child. It is a feast of light, especially meaningful during the darkest season of the year. The star of Bethlehem, the gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh, and the journey itself all symbolize guidance, revelation, and hope.

This service invites us to seek Christ’s light in our own lives and to carry that light forward into the world through kindness, creativity, and love.

Following the service, we will gather in the old parish hall to enjoy King’s Cake together.
