NourishNC is a Wilmington-based nonprofit committed to ensuring that children in our community have consistent access to nutritious food so they can learn, grow, and thrive. By addressing childhood hunger at its roots, NourishNC partners with schools, healthcare providers, and community organizations to support children and families facing food insecurity.

Through programs such as backpack food for weekends, school pantries, emergency food assistance, and nutrition support during school breaks, NourishNC meets children at critical moments when hunger can most disrupt learning and well-being. Each program is designed with dignity and care, recognizing that reliable nourishment is essential to both physical health and academic success.

This past fall, our parish collected food in support of NourishNC’s mission, offering a tangible way to stand with children and families in need. These donations helped stock shelves and sustain programs that provide healthy, kid-friendly food to students throughout the school year.

Through strong community partnerships, dedicated volunteers, and a shared commitment to children’s futures, NourishNC continues to make a meaningful difference—one meal, one child, and one family at a time.
