Pilgrimage Reflections from the Portuguese Coastal Camino
This summer, my daughter Jennifer and I joined seventeen fellow pilgrims on the Portuguese Coastal Route of the Camino de Santiago. Over eight days and 104 miles, we prayed, walked, and shared life together as strangers who quickly became a community. Although we all sought the same destination—Santiago de Compostela—I came with a different hope: to remain open to whatever the Camino and the Spirit might reveal about my life and my relationship with God.
