Children's Formation Update for 10-11-2026

Children & Youth: Growing in Faith Together!  Join us this Sunday at 9:00 a.m. as our children and youth continue exploring Scripture, growing in faith, and discovering how God is at work in their lives.

• Nursery, ages 4 and under: Exploring the wonder of God’s Creation through stories and activities

• Grades K-3: Learning about Creation and exploring Matthew 22, discovering how God invites everyone to his great celebration, and how we say “yes” by opening our hearts and becoming more like Jesus

• Grades 4-5: Continuing their journey through the great stories of the Old Testament

• Grades 6-8: Discovering the extraordinary story of Samuel as a young person who learned to listen for and respond to God’s call. Middle schoolers will also make cards of encouragement for our college students.

• Grades 9-12: Continuing their study of the Gospel of Mark with conversation, questions, and a deeper look into the text

Nursery care is available beginning at 8:45 a.m.

EYC Night, 5:00-7:00 p.m.,  Parish Hall

Youth in grades 6-12 are encouraged to join us. Bring a friend! The Schillreff family is generously providing dinner for the evening (a big thank-you to them!), followed by games, fellowship, and preparations for our Fall Festival. It is important to RSVP with Caroline (cjohnson@saots.org) to help with planning for dinner!

We especially hope our youth can attend this EYC Night. With only this gathering and next Sunday morning remaining to prepare for the Fall Festival, we need plenty of helping hands as we get our games, activities, and youth-led All Hallows’ Eve service ready!
