June Outreach Mission: NourishNC Food Drive Feeding Children. Fueling the Future.

Throughout June, St. Andrew's On-the-Sound is partnering with NourishNC to help provide healthy food to children and families in our community.

NourishNC works to address childhood hunger in New Hanover County by ensuring that children have access to nutritious meals when school is not in session and when families face food insecurity. Through programs such as weekend meal backpacks, family-choice grocery markets, mobile food distribution, and partnerships with schools and healthcare providers, NourishNC helps children receive the nourishment they need to learn, grow, and thrive.

When you place a packet of tuna or a box of macaroni and cheese into our NourishNC collection bins, it becomes more than food. It becomes a meal for a child. It becomes support for a family. It becomes a reminder that our neighbors are not alone.

This June, let us turn our generosity into something tangible as we fill our collection bins with food and hope for children throughout our community.

Most Needed Items

• Chicken or tuna packets

• Knorr rice or pasta sides

• Mac & Cheese (cups or boxes)

• Canned fruits and vegetables (low sodium or packed in juice)

• Granola, KIND, or fig bars

Collection bins are located in both parish halls through June 30.
