Youth Sunday and Sunday School Picnic

Youth Sunday and Sunday School Picnic – On May 17th, youth of the parish will be participating in the 10:15 am service. Following the service there will be a picnic, as held in the new parish hall. It will be a time to thank teachers for the year, to enjoy good food, and say goodbye to our Director of Youth Ministry, Lily Brown.

Lily will graduate from UNCW next week and soon will be leaving us to head to Middle Tennessee State University to start a master’s program in history. As an expression of gratitude for her ministry at St. Andrew’s, and to help her on her way with school expenses, should you desire, you may offer a card with a monetary gift to be presented to Lily. There will be a basket for cards in the new parish hall.

The picnic lunch will feature hot dogs as prepared by Chef Dan Patterson. You are asked to bring a picnic food item to share. We hope you’ll join us for lunch and a good time.
