Dear Parish Family,
On behalf of our entire parish family, I want to express our deepest gratitude to the Rector Search Committee of St. Andrew’s On-the-Sound, for your tireless work in the search for your new rector. We know this process required countless hours of prayer, discernment, discussion, and careful listening to God’s guidance. Thank you: Donna Grice: Co-Chair, Mark Matheny: Co-Chair; Amy Lease: Vestry Liaison; Emily Barbour; Maggie Brice; Joy Davidson; Marion Dalgleish; Claire Donahoe; Hoop Morgan and Rob Struble.
Your commitment, patience, and faithfulness have been a true blessing to our church. You approached this sacred task with open hearts, wisdom, and unity, ensuring that every step was taken with care and integrity. Because of your dedication, we now welcome The Rev. Dr. BJ Buracker with joy and anticipation for the ministry ahead. Father BJ, and his wife Kimberly have four daughters – Hannah (12), Eilidh (10), Mary Esther (7), and Stacey (1) – and one son — J.T. (5).
Please know that your service has not gone unnoticed. You have helped shape the future of our parish, and we are profoundly thankful for the love and devotion you have poured into this journey.
May God richly bless each of you for your faithfulness and the gift of your time and talents.
With gratitude and joy,
Rev. Michael Singer
