Fill the Windows for Thanksgiving!
November 15 & 22 | Supporting the Sgt. Eugene Ashley Memorial Center
This Thanksgiving season, help us fill the windows of St. Andrew's with gratitude and generosity! We invite parishioners to bring large, non-perishable food donations to support the Sgt. Eugene Ashley Memorial Center, a ministry of Good Shepherd Ministries serving veterans in our community.
For more than 20 years, our parish and preschool have supported this meaningful outreach. As we celebrate Thanksgiving and honor Veterans Day, we continue this tradition of sharing God's love with those who have served our country.
When & Where to Donate
Donations may be brought to the church beginning after the 10:15 a.m. service on Sunday, November 8, through the morning of Sunday, November 22.
Simply place your donations in the church windows and help us fill them with the spirit of Thanksgiving!
Suggested Food Donations
Because the Ashley Center prepares meals for large groups, bulk-sized donations are especially appreciated. Consider #10 cans (large, food-service-sized cans) or warehouse-sized packages available at Costco, Walmart, and local supermarkets.
Wish List:
Breakfast: Ground coffee, powdered creamer, cereal, oatmeal, pancake mix, and syrup
Pantry Staples: Pasta, pasta sauce, dried beans, and peanut butter
Canned Goods: Tuna, meats, soups, vegetables, and fruits
Other Essentials: Salad dressing
Every contribution helps provide nourishment and care for veterans in our community.
